Regional Service Delivery Overview
SERCO of Texas delivers comprehensive workforce solutions across multiple regions in partnership with local Workforce Development Boards, ensuring services are responsive to regional priorities, contract requirements, and the evolving needs of the communities we serve. Through one-stop career centers, targeted youth initiatives, childcare services, and specialized employment programs, SERCO supports job seekers, youth, families, employers, and community partners with access to career services, training opportunities, and supportive resources.
Our regional service models are tailored to the scope of each Board contract and may include workforce center operations, WIOA youth services, childcare services, employer engagement, and other specialized workforce programs. In every region, SERCO works collaboratively with education partners, community-based organizations, economic development entities, and public agencies to deliver coordinated, customer-centered support.
Across all service areas, our focus remains on advancing employment outcomes, removing barriers to workforce participation, strengthening talent pipelines for employers, and contributing to the long-term economic vitality of the communities we serve.
Alamo
(Youth & Workforce Services)
In the Alamo region, SERCO of Texas provides workforce services with a strong focus on supporting youth in communities while also delivering broader workforce solutions. Programs are designed to help individuals, particularly Youth and young adults people facing barriers, prepare for employment and long-term career success.
For youth, services include job readiness training such as resume development, interview preparation, workplace skills and leadership development opportunities along with career exploration to help identify pathways aligned with local workforce needs. Participants are provided with work experience opportunities, including paid and unpaid placements, to gain hands-on exposure and build confidence.
Youth are also connected to education and training opportunities, including high school completion and industry-recognized certifications. Supportive services, such as transportation and work-related assistance, are provided to reduce barriers to participation.
